The national Social Credit Party of Canada has cut all ties with its Quebec branch, known as the Union of Electors, because of its anti-Semitic program, Solon Low, national head of the party announced here.
Mr. Low accused the Quebec party of being a “dictatorial organization spreading anti-Semitism and other destructive propaganda throughout the nation.” He said that the Quebec group disassociated itself from the parent body more than a year ago “after we pointed out that their policies were anti-democratic.”
