Malcolm MacDonald, British Commissioner at Ottawa, was today urged to secure issuing of Canadian visas for more than 400 Polish rabbis and yeshiva students stranded in Kobe, Japan, in a cable sent by the Executive of the Agudas Israel.

At the same time a Jewish delegation here visited the Polish Foreign Minister, whom they urged to intervene with a view toward obtaining visas for these refugees somewhere within the British Commonwealth. The Foreign Minister promised the immediate intervention of his government to alleviate the problem, which he said had his personal, deep sympathy.
