The reconstitution of Palestine as a Jewish Commonwealth under inter-governmental auspices and with inter-governmental assistance was urged by the delegates from all parts of Canada assembled at the 17th annual conference of the Zionist order of Habonim here.
The resolution declares that “Jewish homelessness and suffering will not disappear from the continent of Europe with the defeat of the common enemy and with the triumph of the democracies, but will persist until a large part of the millions of uprooted Jews is afforded the opportunity to re-establish themselves in a home of their own.”
