The United Zionist Council of Canada today sent a message of greeting to Queen Elizabeth II on the occasion of her coronation next Tuesday.
The message, signed by Edward E. Gelber, president, declared that “we are cognizant of the part the British people played in assisting the national aspirations of the Jewish people in the Holy Land. We pray that the existing goodwill between Great Britain and Israel will be continued and strengthened during Her Majesty’s reign,” the message added.
