Prime Minister William Mackenzie King was urged to press for immediate implementation of the Anglo-American inquiry committee’s recommendation for the transfer of 100,000 European Jews to Palestine in a cable sent by Samuel J. Zacks, president of the Zionist Organization of Canada and president of the United Zionist Council of Canada.

Zacks asked Mr. King, who is now in London, to raise his voice at the Dominions Conference against further delay in admitting Jews to Palestine. He declared that the delay has already created a situation which is “morally offensive to all right thinking men.”
