An order of machinery from England has been provisionally cancelled by Messrs. Jaffe and Polikansky as a demonstration against the stoppage of immigration to Palestine. This is the first instance of Jewish industrialists taking part in the protest against the immigration ban. The machinery was intended for a $175,000 cold-storage plant Messrs. Jaffe and Polikansky were planning.
