A letter has been sent to the Jewish Ministers Cantors Association by Leo Rosenblatt, thanking members there for the tribute which they paid to his father, the late Cantor Josef Rosenblatt, at memorial services in which they took part last Tuesday at Carnegie Hall.
Mr. Rosenblatt’s letter follows:
“On behalf of my bereaved mother, brothers, sisters, and myself, I wish to take this means of expressing to all of you our sincerest appreciation for the very touching tribute which you, his colleagues, paid to the everlasting memory of our sainted father, Cantor Josef Rosenblatt, at the memorial services which you conducted at Carnegie Hall on last Tuesday evening.
“At this hour of grief, your deep-felt sorrow and sympathies are a great consolation to us and will help to lighten the burden of our insufferable loss.
“We are extremely grateful to you.”
