Capital Hears Meyer Considered for Berlin Post

Eugene Meyer, former chairman of the War Finance Corporation and of the Federal Farm Loan Board, is being seriously considered as Ambassador to Germany, it is learned in reliable quarters here.

President Hoover is giving renewed consideration to the filling of the various diplomatic posts for which new appointments will be made and Mr. Meyer is one of those on the list of possibilities for the Berlin post, it is understood.
