Few realize the growth of Fascist organizations in this country, Sidney Reiss, radio director of the Young People’s League of the United Synagogue, declared over Station WBNX last night.
“We cannot disregard these organizations,” he said. “To the workers half-baked socialism is preached. To the middle class a powerful appeal is made.
“Capitalists are induced to support fascist organizations because they realize that by encouraging the blame for all economic, social and moral ills upon a disunited Jewish people, they direct attention from their own sins.”
Dr. Louis I. Harris, former Health Commissioner, spoke on “Public Health in the United States and Palestine.”
