Magistrate Benjamin Greenspan in the Municipal Term Court yesterday dismissed the case of Harry Slotnick, messenger of the Gates of Mercy Center, 53 Lewis street, who was charged with soliciting funds without a permit.

In commenting on the case, Magistrate Greenspan declared that he is fully supporting a drive to license all religious organizations. Under the existing statute religious organizations need not be licensed by the Department of Public Welfare.
