The Catholic Church in Quebec is playing a prominent part in the fight being waged against anti-Semitism, according to a report submitted to the Dominion Council of the Canadian Jewish Congress.
Speaking for the public relations committee of the C.J.C., the chairman, S.D. Cohen, told of the steps which were taken to curb anti-Jewish agitation and to compel certain anti-Semitic sheets to cease publication. Morris Orbach, Jewish Labor member of the British Parliament, described the work of the Trades Advisory Council in combatting anti-Semitism in England.
