Catholic Church leaders were largely instrumental in launching the Inter-Faith Good-Will Committee here, which consists of Catholic, Jewish and Protestant representatives.
The first major affair of the committee will be a dinner in the Chamber of Commerce headquarters on April 9, to be attended by 300 persons of each faith. The speakers will be Archbishop Edward Mooney of the Rochester diocese, Rabbi Philip S. Bernstein and Dr. Justin W. Nixon.
The Rt. Rev. Monsignor William M. Hart, vicar-general of the Rochester Catholic diocese, heads the inter-faith group.
