Duquesne University, a Roman Catholic Institution, will publish the first English translation of a book by a Jewish scientist now available only in French. The author is Dr. Aron Gurwitch, and the book is “The Field of Consciousness,” an analysis of human perception. The National Science Foundation gave Duquesne a grant of $9,840 for this project.
