Chief Judge Irving Lehman of the State of New York Court of Appeals, today delivered the first address in the Centenary Series of Guest Preachers and Lecturers at Temple Emanuel. He spoke on “Moral Foundations of Law.” Judge Lehman’s address was preceded by a brief religious service. To mark the One Hundredth Anniversary of Congregation Emanuel, a sub-committee for the celebration, headed by George Z. Medalie, has arranged for a series of sixteen Sunday morning lecturers under the general title “The Moral and Spiritual Foundations for the World of Tomorrow.”
