The Thirty-Sixth Annual Session of the Central Conference of American Rabbis will be held in Asheville, N. C., from June 22nd to June 27th. The headquarters of the Conference will be at the Kenilworth Inn.
The conference will hear many reports on the activities of the organization including report on Social Justice by Rabbi Ephraim Frisch. San Antonio; Synagogue Pension Fund by Rabbi Joseph Stolz, Chicago: Archives by Dr. Henry Englander. Cincinnati; Religious Work in Universities by Rabbi Leo M. Franklin, Detroit; Liturgical Literature by Dr. David Philipson, Cincinnati; Responsa by Dr. J. Z. Lauterbach, Cincinnati; Revision of the Hymn Book by Rabbi Louis Wolsey, Philadelphia; Source Book of Reform Judaism by Dr. Israel Bettan. Cincinnati; The Synagogue: Physical and Mental Infirmities, Rabbi Louis Witt, St. Louis; Dr. Neumark’s Manuscripts by Rabbi Samuel S. Cohen, Cincinnati.
Rabbi Ephraim Frisch will read a paper on “The Occupation of the the Jews in the United States.”
The third day of the conference will be devoted to religious education. A survey of Jewish religious conditions will be presented to the conference.
