The Central Union of German Citizens of the Jewish Faith has received an invitation to participate in the world Jewish conference in Geneva on August 14th, but has not yet considered the matter, it was learned yesterday.
The Central Union may decline the invitation, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learns, for the reason that it believes the conference to be a one-sided affair inasmuch as the American Jewish Committee is not participating. The Central Union may not even send an unofficial observer to the deliberations on the advisability and feasibility of constituting a world Jewish congress.
