A resolution declining to participate in the Jewish Agency was adopted yesterday at the annual meeting of the Central Union of German Citizens of the Jewish Faith, by a vote of 45 to 35. The Central Union has a membership of 60,000.
The resolution adopted states that since Jewish circles in Germany are not united on the question of the Jewish Agency, the Central Union as an organization does not find it possible to participate in the Agency. Individual members, however, are not bound by this resolution and may join on their own behalf.
