The first anniversary of the establishment of the Argentine village in Israel was marked with a special ceremony attended by the Argentinian Ambassador to Israel, Pablo Manguel. Two of the streets in the village were named for the Presidents of Argentina and Israel, Juan Feron and Itzhak Ben Zvi, respectively. The main library was named for Ambassador Manguel.
During the ceremony, Dr. I. Ferder, director of Rassco, announced that the village was now ready for the implementation of the second stage of its development–the introduction of industrial establishments.
