Chancellor Leopold Figl will he the main speaker at a meeting here tomorrow to commemorate the destruction of Vienna synagogues and the slaughter of large numbers of the city’s Jews on Nov. 10, 1938.
The Jewish Community of Vienna has invited ministers of the government and representatives of the four powers occupying Austria to attend the ceremony. Jewish speakers will use the occasion to voice disappointment in the delay in implementing the government’s restitution program and the failure of denazification.
