Milwaukee. The prize was awarded him for his oration. “Humanity at Handgrips With the Last Scourge.” His oration has been sent to Washington, D. C., where it will compete for the national intercollegiate prize.
Temple B’nai Israel was dedicated in Nutley, N. J. The principal speakers at the dedication were Rabbi Charles I. Hoffman and Judge Joseph Siegler, both of Newark, Isidor Chernin is president of the congregation and Ralph Simon recently was appointed rabbi.
