The revelation that former Premier Waldemaras ordered the pogroms on the Jews of Slobodka last August was made today at a conference of the Nationalist government party. The former premier attempted to deny the allegation which was made by members of his own party who were his former supporters. His denial was considered to be unconvincing and the conference was left with the impression that he was guilty of the Jewish bloodshed in Slobodka.
