Four Brooklyn Jewish charities eventually will benefit under the will of Harris Amols probated yesterday at Surrogate’s Court. The estate is valued at more than $11,000. An outright bequest of $2,500 and a life benefit in the residuary is made to the widow, Hannah Amols, now living at 42 West Thirty-fifth street, Manhattan. Outright bequests of $3,000 also are made to relatives.
At the death of the widow half the remainder of the estate is to be divided between four charities: the Brooklyn Hebrew Home and Hospital for the Aged, the Bedford division of the Jewish Sanitarium for Incurables, the Pride of Judea Orphan Asylum and the Brooklyn Hebrew Orphan Asylum. The will requests that the first two institutions name beds for Mr. Amols. The remaining half of the residuary is bequeathed to nine relatives.
Mr. Amols died on September 7 at his late residence, 1788 East Fifteenth street. The will, dated February 17, 1934, names Murray Rubien of 51 Chambers street and Harry H. and Jenny Beinfield, both of 710 Eastern parkway, as executors.
