A number of Jewish charitable institutions were among the beneficiaries mentioned in the will of Sidney Ballin, which was probated yesterday in Surrogate’s Court. Mr. Ballin died on Oct. 28. The will disposes of an estate of “over $10,000.”
The sum of $1,000 each was bequeathed to the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies, Mt. Sinai Hospital, the New York Guild for the Jewish Blind and the New York Times Neediest Cases. The Hebrew Orphan Asylum was given $500.
