Charles Brown has been elected president of the Jewish Community Council here, succeeding the late Judge Harry A. Hollzer. Max Firestein was elected first vice-president.
The 12th annual meeting of the Community Council adopted a resolution protesting against the American Council for Judaism “for its official statement charging American Jews who are Zionists with a divided loyalty.”
