Charles W. Morris, prominent Jewish attorney and first chairman of the national council of the Joint Defense Appeal, the fund-raising arm of the American Jewish Committee and the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith, died here at the age of 69. Mr. Morris was also a former vice-president of the National Jewish Welfare Board.
