Lectures on Jewish subjects, under the auspices of the Jewish Chautauqua Society, were held this summer at the Universities of Iowa, Utah, North Carolina, Virginia, Purdue, Rutgers, Knoxville and the Pennsylvania State College, the report of the organization for the summer of 1934 shows.
Among the lecturers who addressed audiences in university summer schools were Rabbis Samuel S. Mayerberg, Sheldon Blank, Adolph H. Fink, Emil Leipziger, Abraham Holtzberg, Edward Israel, Louis Wolsey, Edward J. Bamberger, Edward Calisch and Abraham Cronbach.
