The following letter was received by the Young People’s Institute here from Samuel Leff, director of Health and Camp Activities of the Jewish Welfare Board of New York:
“On behalf of the Jewish Welfare Board, I want to congratulate you again on your second victory in the national Ylympics. In 1932, you won the championship with 36.667 points; in 1933, you increased your total to 41.115 points.
“It is most interesting to learn from a comparison of the records established in 1933, that many of your boys and girls broke the previous national records in many events. Please congratulate these participants and assure them that we shall look forward with pleasure to having them enter again in the 1934 Ylympics, to be conducted from March 15th to April 15th.
“I also wish to congratulate you and your organization on its continued excellence in the field of physical education.”
