The College of Jewish Studies here, which trains teachers for Hebrew and Sunday Schools and for Jewish adult education classes, plans to erect a $500,000 building after the war, it was announced here yesterday at the annual meeting of the Board of Jewish Education.
Dr. Samuel Blumenfield, dean of the college, surveyed the twenty-year development of the institution, and Dr. Judah Goldin, who is the first to occupy the new chair of Jewish studies at Duke University, Durham, N. C., delivered the principal address. Prof, Louis Gottschalk, of the University of Chicago, and other officers and board members were re-elected.
