Chicago Jewish Leader Gives $15,000 to Hillel Foundation in Memory of Soldier Son

A gift of $15,000 has been presented by Max Karasik, Chicago synagogue leader, to the B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundation at the University of Chicago for the establishment of a Hillel House at the University as a memorial to his son, the late Raymond Karasik, U. S. Army Air Corps, who was killed in an operational flight, it was announced here.
