A number of leading Jews participated in the unveiling of a monument yesterday honoring the memory of M. M. Dolitsky, noted Hebrew poet, who died here last year.
Rabbi A. Abramowitz, Rabbi S. Felix Mendelsohn, H. Steinberg, L. H. Lifterman and Cantor Newman, took part in the exercises and Mary Dolitsky, the poet’s daughter, unveiled the monument.
The Committee which made the arrangements included Dr. Leo Honor, who was chairman; J. M. Braude, President of the local Zionist organization; Max Shulman, President of the Mid-West Zionist Region; M. W. Weisgal, director of the Region; Rabbi Solomon Goldman, Dr. Meyer Waxman, Dr. S. Melamed, Dr. A. Levinson, Dr. A. B. Yudelson, S. B. Komaiko, M. Abrams, M. Ginsburg, J. Siegal, S. Prochobnik, and Sam Ginsburg.
