Max Adler has returned from a tour of Europe. He was accompanied by his architect, Mr. E. A. Grunsfield, Jr., who is now engaged in drawing up plans for the planetarium which, through the generosity of Mr. Adler, will be built for Chicago. Mr. Adler and Mr. Grunsfield visited the planetaria of Dusseldorf, Hanover, Munich and Jena. Chicago will be the first American city to have a planetarium.
One hundred and seventy pupils of the Jewish religious schools of Greater New York, who have been awarded gold wrist watches as the highest prize for excellence in scholarship and perfect attendance, by the Jewish Education Association, will receive their prizes on Sunday afternoon, November 11, at a special festival in their honor. The festival will be held in the Federation Building, New York. The meeting will be presided over by Samuel Rottenberg.
