Chicago Rabbinical Assembly Condemns Dances on Sabbath

The Chicago Rabbinical Association unanitnously passed a resolution condemning dances and card parties which take place either Friday evening or during the Sabbath, and urged the abolition of that practice.

It also decided that all Jewish school children be urged to stay away from school on the first days of the Holidays.
