Dr. Leo Baeck, leader of German Jewry until 1942, when he was arrested and sent to the Nazi concentration camp at Theresienstadt, and president of B’nai B’rith in Germany until its liquidation by the Nazi regime in 1936, has accepted an invitation to come to the United States as the guest of B’nai B’rith, it was announced here today by Henry Monsky, president of B’nai B’rith. Dr. Baeck is now in London recuperating from more than two years in a concentration camp.
