In accordance with a resolution of the membership of the German Jewish Children’s Aid, Inc., the further administration of its affairs will be coordinated with the general program of the National Refugee Service, Inc., to facilitate economies of operation and provide increased service functions, it was announced today by the two organizations.
The German Jewish Children’s Aid retains its position as an independent organization and continues to be directed by a separate governing board. Alan M. Stroock has been elected chairman and Herman W. Block vice-chairman of the children’s group.
The annual meeting of the members and board of directors of the N.R.S. will be held May 25 in New York, President William Rosenwald announced. Leaders in refugee work from all parts of the country will participate in the meeting.
