As a result of a great influx of German Jewish youngsters who have immigrated here, extensive arrangements are under way to enlarge Ben Shemen, children’s village.
A number of buildings, including offices and schools, kindergartens and dwellings, are being created. The cost of the construction will total three thousand pounds, half of which has already been forthcoming from the Labor Contracting Office. Serious attention is being given to the care of the newcomers.
