The Jewish Community of Zailina was today richer by 59,000 kronen (about $2,500) because during the lifetime of Katherine Brycha, a Christian beggar, individual Jews were generous to her.
In the woman’s will, made public here, she explained she was leaving her money to the Jewish Community of the town in which she plied her profession because the Jews were more generous with their alms than others.
