Opposition by church leaders in Nazi-dominated countries to the anti-Jewish brutalities is becoming stronger daily the Swiss press reports today.

Cardinal Seredi’s appeal to the people of Hungary to defy Hitler’s racial theory, is termed “sensational” by the Swiss newspapers which also report that in Slovakia, the Lutheran Church protested against the decree forcing Jews to wear yellow badges.
