A Jewish Community Campaign for $175,000 will be made this fall, the Cincinnati Jewish Community Council having just endorsed this long discussed plan to eliminate a number of separate drives. The council voted each organization in the joint campaign shall receive no more money than it received the year before the joint drive except in such extraordinary cases as the council’s executive committee deems worthy.
The nominating committee reported the following officers who were elected: W. J. Shroder, president; Kurt Peiser, executive secretary; Messrs. Abrohoms, Schmidt, Maurice J. Freiberg, Max Hirsch, Mrs. David Polasky, Adolph Rosenberg, Dr. Samuel Rothenberg and Robert M. Senior, executive committeemen.
