Appointment of Dr. Jacob Robinson as coordinator and consultant on research and commemoration projects on the Nazi persecution of the Jews was announced today by the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
Dr. Robinson is a former member of the Lithuanian Parliament. Later he was legal adviser to the Jewish Agency, a consultant to the American prosecution in the Nuremberg Trials and a member of the Israel delegation to the United Nations. He was the head of he Institute of Jewish Affairs of the World Jewish Congress for several years and is now chairman of the joint commission of the Yad Vashem Authority in Jerusalem and of the VIVO Institute for Jewish Research in New York.
