Cleveland Drive Gets $3,000 for Palestine

The Gewerkschaften campaign for tools for workers in Palestine was opened here with a dinner at the Alcazar Hotel. Four hundred people attended and over $3,000 in cash and pledges was collected.

Among the speakers were Joseph Sprinzak, Rabbi Samuel Wohl, Samuel Schmidt, Professor J. M. Rogoff and A. H. Friedland, who acted as toastmaster. Dr. I. Milcoff is chairman of the campaign.
