Daniel S. Wertheimer, publisher of the “Jewish Review and Observer” in this city, died yesterday at the age of 70. He was born in Cleveland and spent all his life here. In 1890 he bought the “Jewish Review” and since then had been president of the Wertheimer Publishing Company. In 1900 he bought the “Hebrew Observer” and merged it with the “Review.” For more than 20 years he was a trustee of the Euclid Avenue Temple.
