The executive board of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America, CIO, which is currently meeting here, has called on President Truman to implement the U.N. decision on Palestine “by exerting real influence.” The board’s statement also pointed out that Arabs are being given access to arms and other war materials from the U.S. and Britain and at the same time that Jews are denied such support and “are even being disarmed.”
