Coalition Executive for Zionist Organization is Urged by Mizrachi

After an all night session, the World Mizrachi Conference closed its sittings. A new leadership was chosen. The newly elected leaders of the orthodox Zionists of the world are H. Farbstein, Rabbi Meyer Berlin, Rabbi Wolf Gold, Rabbi Fishman, Schechterman and Genachowski.

The Vaad Haraschi (Supreme Council) is to consist of 71 members. The new council is to have 46 Mizrachi members and 25 members of the Torah V’avodah (Orthodox Labor Zionists).

At the closing session of the Orthodox Zionist Organization, resolutions were adopted demanding a coalition Zionist Executive, in which Heschel Farbstein would hold the portfolio of immigration. The conference also demanded that the Jewish Agency be reorganized.
