The San Francisco Conference of Jews and Christians has voted to arrange an interdenominational Thanksgiving radio program which will be broadcast over a Pacific Coast hookup. Jewish, Protestant and Catholic speakers will be heard from Los Angeles, San Francisco and Portland.
The conference also launched a campaign for a chapel at San Quentin, the largest prison in the country. Archbishop Hann, Rev. Dr. Julian McPheeters and Rabbi Rudolph I. Coffee addressed letters to Warden James B. Holoan urging erection of a chapel to be used by all faiths, the Conference reported.
