Col. Shaul Affek, military attache of the Israeli Embassy in Brasilia, was honored this week with the Brazilian Military Medal, “Merito Santos Dumont,” for “his personal qualities and significant services he rendered to the Brazilian air forces,” according to the disposition published in the official gazette by the Ministry of the Air Force.
