Col. Patterson, the commander of the Jewish Legion in Allenby’s army, was given a reception Sunday by the Tel Aviv municipality.

In his address, Col. Patterson stated that the Christians who persecuted the Jews over two thousand years, are now obliged to help the Jews in the rebuilding of Palestine. The Jews have converted Palestine from a desert into a paradise and their final success is certain.

Col. Patterson visited Palestine prior to his settling in Egypt as the manager of the Egyptian branch of the Judea Insurance Company, Ltd.
