The Colonial Office today refused to confirm or to deny a report from Palestine that the sum of $4,000,000 has been granted by the British Government to Palestine for educational activities there. The report stated that of this sum, one million dollars will be assigned for Jewish education in Palestine.
The World Jewish Congress here today received an invitation from the Jewish National Council of Palestine to participate in a central Jewish body which is now being established in Jerusalem for the purpose of investigating the German extermination of Jews in Europe.
