A board of trustees to administer funds raised by the newly formed International Jewish Colonization Society was announced today by Daniel Wolf, Netherlands philanthropist who founded the organizations, before his departure for Paris to continued financial discussions he has been conducting here for the past three days.
The board is composed of Sir Robert Waley Cohen, prominent British-Jewish leader and industrialist; S. Warburg, a member of the Hamburg banking family who lives in London; Senator S. Vandenbergh Jr. Netherlands member of the Jewish Agency, and Prof. B. Schrieke, non-Jewish colonial expert of Amsterdam. Further appointments, representative of France and the United States, will be made, Mr. Wolf declared. He also announced that Oscar Deutsch, cinema magnate, has joined the Society’s international advisory committee.
Five territories are now under consideration by the society, Mr. Wolf said. Two commissions have already been sent out and three more will be dispatched before Christmas and one before New Years.
