Columbia Pictures this week exercised its option on the services of Leo Bulgakov, noted director.
Signed for a term contract last Spring in New York where his brilliant success, “One Sunday Afternoon” and other Broadway plays had attracted wide-spread attention, Bulgakov immediately went to the coast.
Since his arrival there he has been acting in the capacity of observer, in order to familiarize himself with the ramifications of the industry. He will be assigned to his first production within the next few days.
