Rudolf Hoess, the former commander of the Oswiecim extermination camp, who is charged with being responsible for the death of 2,000,000 Jews, is to be taken to Poland to stand trial there; it was reported here today by the British radio.
Hoess was arrested by British officers about a month ago near the German-Danish Frontier. He admitted that under his supervision more than 2,500,000 people, the majority of them Jews, were gassed or otherwise killed.
